National Ice Cream Sandwich Day

  • East Village / Nolita New York, NY (map)

The ice cream sandwich was invented in 1899 by an unknown pushcart peddler in the Bowery neighborhood of New York City. 120 years later, Odd Fellows Ice Cream and Urban Archive are teaming up on National Ice Cream Sandwich Day (August 2nd) to bring New Yorkers the sweetest History Hunt yet. The first 20 people to finish the hunt will be rewarded with an ice cream surprise from Odd Fellow’s Ice Cream. Game on!

To participate download the Urban Archive app and click on the History Hunt icon ( I 🔍NY ). The hunt will be released on Friday, August 2nd.
